On the next pages, we will ask you a few questions, to help us determine how your poem should go. Remember, the more information you tell us, the more personal your poem will be. We can offer several suggestions. Why not let us write a poem to your love with each sentence starting with the next letter of their name, so a poem for Veronica would start “V is for your voice, which sings throughout my dreams, E is for your eyes and the love that through them gleams…” In this way the poem is truly individual. Or you may favour a more traditional approach. There may be a personal feature that you admire, and you would like us to extol in verse; or you may have a favourite song. Again, the more you can tell us, the more we can put into your poem. (However, everything you tell us is completely private and we will never use your email for anything unsolicited or pass it on to anyone else!)
